Training for Faculty and Staff

All members of Niner Nation play a critical role in fostering a community of care. As such, the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides training, education and resources to build individuals’ capacity to be an active member of our community of care. For those interested in learning how to identify, respond to, and refer a student in distress or at risk of a mental health crisis, we offer different training opportunities. These training opportunities include Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), and are available to faculty and staff on the Learning and Development portal accessible through your My UNC Charlotte account.
