THE NINERCARE TEAM

The NinerCare Team is a multidisciplinary team that meets weekly to discuss higher level situations when a student concern has not been mitigated through other interventions. The NinerCare Team is chaired by staff in Student Assistance and Support Services (SASS) and includes members representing: Student Assistance and Support Services, Student Accountability and Conflict Resolution, Housing and Residence Life, Disability Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, and the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX. These staff members work collaboratively to determine an appropriate action plan to mitigate concerns and provide supportive measures to students.

Additionally, the University has the student Campus Behavioral Intervention Team (CBIT), that is responsible for gathering information, assessing and implementing intervention strategies, as appropriate, for cases that include threats and/or violent behaviors concerning students. CBIT is managed by Threat Assessment and Management (TAM). The NinerCare Team may elevate concerns to the CBIT level.
