Why Tell Someone?

When a student demonstrates any behavior of concern, it is best to report that concern to protect both the student and the community. A safe community relies on individual and collective responsibility. A student may be demonstrating similar behavior elsewhere in the UNC Charlotte community such as in the residence halls, classrooms, and staff offices. Knowing the extent of the behavior will help the University determine what the student needs and an appropriate response.
